Hmmm, I don't know about that one Chris...as pointed out to me earlier, there are many avian species that stick together until death.

I believe that humans, by nature (i.e. instinctual tendancies) are supposed to stick together. I believe that society is the source which sways us to go astray from our soulmates...

as a sociologist, monogomy in the US was ingrained in our brains by our puritanical fore-fathers.

it wasnt until good ol' joseph smith who was banned to a place in the west .

polygamy (one man married to mutiple "spiritual" wives) was something the mormons introduced.

but you knew who would find that wrong... and like jed clampett, mr smith headed west.

and the rest is history.

now in the animal kingdom, you dont things like first degree murder or involuntary manslaughter.

so lets say, horny male horned toad wants to get it AWN with a female horned toad. that's fine. mr horned toad dont have to stick around and help raised the little young' ens or worry about child support.

 

When you are married or in a serious relationship there is no room for that stuff.

I mean I am no better than the next guy...I have never been with someone and cheated on them...but who hasn't thought about it. I have to admit I am just as bad though...an old high school girl friend..hadn't seen her in 8 years...we went out as friends once cause she looked me up...the next time she was all crying..her husband is cheating on her and he's bad and they haven't slept in the same bed for like a year...blah blah....we went out once to talk about it and got a little frisky...no intercourse...just all bad...I broke if off and told her to fix things with her husband..they have kids or end it.......worst thing I have ever done in my life and I regret it all the damn time. I am a christian guy....not the best one in the world but I know right and wrong....I messed up bad.

Cheating on people is just wrong...helping people cheat is just as bad....I would never cheat on my girlfriend.....if it even crosses my mind it's time to reconsider the relationship....just sucks for them...better to end it that run around behind their backs.

Speaking of stories....I was at this bar...see these two girls start making out like **** stars right next to my face and this dude walk up and start trying too hook up the 3 way.....one girl is like...I'm down I want her ***...blah blah...next thing you know the two girls are still going at it and the guy gets all pissed and tries to leave and get the other girl to leave...turns out the one girl was his wife.....he left and I saw the two girls exchanging info so they could hook up on the side.....dudes wife...blonde...was into it....the other girl...red head....went up with to my buddies house with us.....she was all about that chick but not the dude....dude is gonna be pissed......in my opinion...if you want to do that ****.....don't get married....and it was major evil of that red head to know the girl was married and hit it anyways.....I messed up and slipped....just as bad...but this chick doesnt' care either way......

People mess up....but there are people that do this all the time....my boss for instance....it's just freakin sad. if you want to sleep around....stay single.

 

If you don't know it yet, women suck. All women suck. Just know this, she is allready cheating on you or looking at someone she wants to bag. Marriage in todays world isn't a question of faithfullness, more who will cheat first. Variety is the spice of life, go on a taste test

I could have not stated my feelings on the issue more accurately than you have in the above post. I feel exactly the same way.

 

And that is not an accurate assessment at all. There are many good Christian women in this world.

I do tend to agree, however, that American are more likely to sleep around than those from many other countries. That is the reason that I married a foriegner.
