As I've been working with more and more people over the past few years - whether they be coworkers, vendors or support people, I've learned a ton of things my sheltered life kept me away from. One of those things regards faithfulness in marraige or relationships.
Many that I've worked with will start telling a story - "yeah, man, so we were in this bar and getting drunk and I hooked up with this chick!" or "OH SHIZ!!! This chick I banged up in Tahoe found my info and is e-mailing me!!! How can I break it off with her without my wife knowing?!?!?"
I swear that last one is true.
Both of the above two guys were married, and I've met a lot more who have the same types of stories. So, then, is it just that I've been meeting people who cheat on their wives, or is it really that common? I couldn't even think of doing that to my current gf because I know how bad it would hurt her and that I would never want to risk ruining what we have, yet these guys just do it with no regard. One night a few years ago I was out with a couple of these guys and one of them called his wife to come pick him up. He was so drunk, he FORGOT he had called her and started hitting on all these chicks. His wife showed up and some of our friends had to divert her and then pull him away so she wouldn't bust his ***.
So which is it? Do you cheat or are you a faithful partner?

I quoted you for two reasons.
1. To say "She is going to OWN you"
2. So that if you get worried about her owning you and try to delete your post, I've got it saved

i don't cheat, but have been cheated on. given the number of women i've dated (which i must admit isn't that large), i'd say it's fairly common for both sexes to cheat.

On subject, hell no on cheating. I'd be pissed and hurt if it happened to me, and I'm a firm proponent of non-hypocrisy.
<checks logic>
Yeah.
As a firm believer of karma, i would hate to cheat on someone and then have that come back to me 10 fold.
With that said, i also can't stand hurting another human being emotionally, unless ofcourse that same person did it to me first, then i'm going to war.

I have been cheated on once but have never cheated personally. i think a nut isn't worth losing someone you love. With that said, i've seen MANY MANY more women in relationships cheat on men then the other way around. It's usually those "perfect guys" that never raise a hand and treat her like a queen. Women like a little chaos unofrtunately and they'll try to create it if they aren't getting it. Which is why i smack my girl around for about 5 minutes every sunday afternoon (i'm kidding)
Seriously, in all the relationships i've seen there were more male vicitms of cheating than female. If you're a cheating male you're the one that creates chaos in the relationship which is why women are sooooo attracted to billy bob with the tattoo and harley and why we have the jerry springer show. On the other hand i've seen more women take that role because their Man was "too good"... that's the line i got by the way.
BTW i speak all this because i was a "marriage counselor" for my unit in the Army... except my role was to convice people to NOT GET MARRIED for these reasons as suggested by my chain of command.

women... they say men are pigs! BullSh*t!
