bored SJ cops!!! I HATE YOU ALL MF'S!!!!!! I got pulled over (friday, my birthday) because I was going 67MPH (I looked at the spedo, just before I got pulled over) on the freeway!!!!.....but the cop was like:"you know how fast you were going?"
I said, "yes, officer I was going about 67 MPH at most, I just looked at my spedo before you pulled me over."
that F*CKER says,
"no, you were doing 70, and you shouldnt be going that fast in the rain".
THEN he says,
"you know your windows are illegally tinted?" (front doors - 50%)
So he takes all my info....writes me a ticket and comes back....then he says....."I'm not gonna write you up for speeding, but I am gonna ticket you for your window tint", and the MF hands me the ticket, ON MY BIRTHDAY!!!!!!!!!!!!

dude, sorry to hear that...that is ruthless: being cited for 67mph. maybe i will just set the cruise control for 60mph in the rain now
your post also answers a question i've been asking people about...if 50% is noticeable. now i know it's noticeable to **** retentive cops...

cop is right... when it's raining, AWD or not... take it easy.
FWIW, my STI has a +4 mph speedo error.
with non OEM tires, your speedo might read slower than actual.
on then my wrx, stock RE-92s read about 1.1 mph diff at all speeds.
this was using my garmin gps unit to get all the speed readings.
btw, was it a fix-it tix for the ILLEGAL tint?
