bend it

if its only the bottom inch or so. just bend that part 45 degrees back. if they have a problem you could always temperarily bend it back to make DMV or the cops happy then bend it back

As far as the ownership of license plates goes...we don't own them. we pay for vanity plates to have the privilege of custom plates. Too bad we don't have European plates

i went 4 wheeling with a dude once who had a jeep where the front bumper is a just a piece of metal that's aboout 5" tall.

so when you mount the license plate on it and when you hit obstacles, it would fold/crush the bottom part of the place just so, that the only thing showing was the numbers/letters...

he told me he's never gotton bugged about it...

i just bent mine and drilled 2 holes in the plate,so it'll go in the existing holes in the bumper.

I've had a cop tell me that's not allowed after being pulled over.

I think this type of thing is relative to how difficult the cop wants to be. Falls under the tint/exhaust/issues.

It's another thing they can get you for because technically it's not "legal".

If you still have the bumper holes that came with the vehicle (JDM/EDM plate holes), I'm working on a bracket that you can use to relocate UPWARD.
