Mitchell Report
So...this was just released today. As I figured, Bonds would be on there. The name that surprised me the most was Roger Clemens. He's the all-american boy who could never be tide up with drugs. I guess he deserves an * for all those Cy Young trophies he won.

kind of funny that there was not a SINGLE red sox player named.
mitchell works for the red sox.
this report was a waste of money and time. It did nothing but slander players. Everyone knew players were using...shoot if I made a list of players it'd be a lot longer than that and I'd probably have more right than mitchell. This was purely political to help mitchell and help the red sox.
baseball knew there was an issue. the public knew there was an issue.
the pressure is in the wrong place. Needs to be placed on the commish. and the owners. Teams like the yankees dishing out $300 million on players. Of course people are gonna see that and juice. If you were a second tear player...say a guy hitting 30 a year at .280... good but not great and you knew with a little "help" you could be that guy hitting 45 at .310 and making another $12 million a year... hard to say no.
need more testing and stricter punishments if you really want to do something about it.
*'s are stupid. Trying to keep guys like clemens and bonds...shoot david justice, petite...etc out of the hall is rediculous. You'd have to wipe the record books clean and start over from scratch.
I guarantee you...GUARANTEE you that A rod has used something over the years.
Want to change baseball... punish the owners. Don't allow teams to go over the salery cap...luxury taxes are horse ****. Your player gets nailed for steroids you get fined.
The source of most of these steroid cases are trainers and other team employers. That and internet purchases.
$300 million dollars for a guy to stand there and hit homeruns is friggin rediculous. And when all is said and done I bet he's closer to a billion as he gets money when he gets close to the record.
maybe if people weren't making BILLIONS of dollars off it the regular guy could go to a game. For decent tickets. Some food and a couple beers...and parking. You're looking at $150 EASY.

i just think this whole ordeal is gonna get out of hand. Further investigation into the matter will reveal a majority of baseball players at some point in their career have used some sort of illegal supplement. Its just a matter of how much dirt they truly want to find.
