Missin the Yay Area...

...I Just moved out to San Diego (La Jolla) and let me tell you, it aint the bay. Dont get me wrong im loving the area, all the beaches, night life and job ops, but people down here just arent like they are out in the bay. First thing everyone out here thinks there car is ****en Fast and Furious (but most are just ****** mobiles w/ spinner hub caps). Everything with an aftermarket (mo's muffler job) exaust here wants to prove how fast a single cam motor can be I will say this the Evo scene down here dominates and there are some sickkkkk evo's. The suby scene is yet to be found...seen alot of legacy's down here but as for my WRX family "where are you?". I really need to brush up on my spanish if i want to survive here, im working out of national city at the moment and woooohhhhh let me just say what an interesting town. Just thougth id say wud up to the bay (especially my San Jo and Hayward peeps) hopefully ill survive the madness they call So-Cal

Damn, pretty baller w/ ya living over in La Jolla! At first I thought ya were gonna say that the folks around ya act a bit uppity. But as I read further & saw that ya work in Nat'l City, so it looks like ya encounter a wide mix of the population down there. I got lotsa family in the area & was down there last month. It's one place I'd consider moving if I ever left the Bay.

from teh hatteroo's perspective...

Wimmenz in so cal > wimmenz in nor cal

YWIA

I know what you mean though. I really don't want to move away from the bay. ALOT of subie support around here and such great shops. Some like LIC that I never want to leave the area in fear I'd never get anything done right on my car without them

Although Garage Tuning is down there and rs25 guys love them. They're great too...just not LIC tho lol
