Man, Iron Mike is one of the most tragic figures in professional sports history ever
So much raw talent and ability, all gone to waste. Curse the day Cus D'amato died, he was the only one that could take all of that rage and insanity in Tyson and focus it all into boxing.
D'amato used to tell Tyson, "The hero and the coward both feel the same thing, but the hero uses his fear, projects it onto his opponent, while the coward runs. It's the same thing, fear, but it's what you do with it that matters."

His style when he was in was just plain badass, and he was right. Why should be all nice when people think he's a beast anyways? Good stuff, great figure, just too bad he had too much controversy to really drop the hammer around his prime. He'd pwn anyone at his best in his career compared to others.

I listened to an interview on NPR (I believe) with the director. He really made me want to see it. He explained that at some points he started to feel sorry for Mike, but he had to keep an open view when making the film.
I heard a sound clip where Tyson talks about how he used to raise pigeons when he was a kid. Then one day some bully came and snapped one of his pigeons necks. He said that was his first fight.
