In the middle of a timing belt job and ordered a bad Radiator

Hey all,

Im in the midde of a timing belt job on my Saabaru (9-2x Aero) and like the title stated I ordered a mishimoto radiator online and just my luck, the radiator is somehow slanted such that the bolt holes holding the top of the fan are not aligning with the radiator itself. I tried ordering one from Subaru, but the require a VIN, and they wont accept my Saab Vin. If someone would please be so kind as to PM me their VIN of a similar model (04-05 wrx) so I can get this done today.

Thanks!

I am surprised you had problems with the Mishimoto. I run one in the FXT and it dropped right in.

I have heard good things about the all aluminum radiator but I got the oem style with plastic end tanks from amazon, thankfully returns are easy with prime.

The quality is inconsistent from what I have seen. Some are perfect, some are utter junk. One I got for my Stealth had to have its brackets slightly adjusted, but otherwise fit well.

I second this... first coolant tank I received was defective/junk, 2nd one did it's job just fine.

Knowing Mishimoto, only buy on sale and always do a thorough inspection of the parts you receive WELL BEFORE you plan to install. Assuming Mishimoto parts will fit & work as described out of the box is a HUGE gamble. But their lifetime warranty and customer service is good.
