Micro Racing

I think there is a micro track somewhere in Santa Clara area. There used to be anyway, I think it was at Castle Hobbies, but I know that Castle Hobbies is no more.
The track at Lemans is too big for anything electric really, definitely not for micros.
I hear that there is parking lot racing at Sheldons and at the hobby shop in Newark (Hobbytown?). Definitely 1/10 scale, but don't know about micros.

On a side note, anyone here do any 1/10 electric sedan racing? I have a Mission that I'd like to play around with at one of the races. It'd be easier to go if I knew someone there.
I've been trying (half-assed trying) to get to either a Hobbytown, Sheldon's or Ripon race for months now, but never seem to get around to it.

Oh cool! I'll check it out too. Do they sell the Mini-Z bodies? I wanna get a new one. Hatchi maybe or a Subaru WRC car.

sheldons does do races but all i've seen is electric. They have a small flat area in back of their shop in which they take fire hydren hose and make a small track. Its pretty ghetto. I've been to the store in newark and that place isn't very good, but that was when they first opened. Also when did castle hobbies close? their store wasn't the best but they guys who worked there were really nice and always helped work on your car if you needed help. Sheldon's on the other hand charges you for the smallest thing.
