Micro Racing
Just wondering anyone out there do micro racing, 1/24 or /128 scale. ie. Kyosho Mini Z, not Bit CharG or so. I found those are way too small (I do own couple of those tho
). If we get enough people, we should have some kind of racing meet. It better to take it on the "TRACK" than on the road!

Well, we can either have someone set up a track or we can bring it to a local track in SF and I believe it cost somewhere around $10/hr. If we can get enough people, we can probably get some kind of group discount

i dont have a micro. I used to be into r/c cars a few years ago. I might take my car to Lemans in fremont, they have a nice track. If interested in buying a r/c car though pm me. I will be willing to sell either one (yes i have 2
) One is a HPI rs4 2 w/ 2 speed tranny, exhaust, and radio. The other is a really nice race car. Mugen MTX-2 w/ mt12 engine, rb x12 pipe, and also selling that one with a nice digital fm radio (jr x2) I am also selling the starter with the Mugen, its a 12v starter box.
haha i guess i should have posted this in the for sale section.

I didn't know Le mans' let you guys drive r/c out there. I used to just go out to the Devry parking lot in Fremont and bash around.
btw, if anyone's interested I got a few cars thats been sitting around....thinking about selling all the stuff for a 5th scale.. or pay off debt...
maybe we can all meet up sometime and run these things... I usually run 1/10 or 1/8th gas, but I got electric cars I can bash around in too...

Lemans doesn't let you run the cars on the indoor kart track, lol. They built a r/c track outside thats a perminate one. It is pretty nice, and has some banked turns. Also they have this big structure to stand on so you can see the whole track. Not sure if they charge you to practice since when i went karting there they had the gate to the r/c track open and people were just walking in.

Hey if anyone is interested in the car im willing to sell everything... including the quick-charger for a decent price. PM me and we'll set something up.. i'll even throw in a rc10 truck complete without gas engine w/ nice paintjob. it's taking to much space and i just don't have the time for it
Hey Marc, you can find that hobby shop that d Dave refer to @ www.tokyotekki.com. As matter of fact, I was there last night. The track that they have right now is not really design for speed at all, in fact, some of the turns are not even managable
