Hey ,

Why dont you tell your ******* good friend **** buddy to man up and show when he did not get paid and for what, also tell the thief to bring my suspension back that I let him borrow for the track day, already filled a report with San Jose and SFPD, his next traffic stop will not go that well. As for NCE, i want you to send me who i owe money too or who's car I have screwed up ? I want you to name people and not just talk **** sitting behind a computer. For any one who wonders why I dont advertise here or norcal evo any more is because of this **** here. I warranty my work for as long as you own your car, also count the number of cars your other shops have blown up in past months and then bring me one from my shop in the past 6 years. My techs make more money than most of the shop owners, I am done playing nice, you guys want to talk **** with out knowing me than it only shows your own inteligence level.

I dont work on a lot of your cars and have told you not to come here because I dont need to argue with broke *** internet engineers. People come here , who are respectable, pay in full and not owe for months and years in some of your cases. Every one wants super service but nickle and dime us for bull****.

You should be ashamed of yourselves for spewinh hateful BS with out any regard for other people.

I apologize for my harsh words and to any who might have been offended, but this bs online blackmail that these hand out seekers resort to has got to stop, I have been doing this for longer than most of these loosers have had teeth and yet they have a mouth to run. You are lucky that shops dont unite and ban the few bad apples that make the rest of the people look bad.

That being said, I gave them a deadline of one day and they worked on my car straight from 10am to 8pm, so they probably got tired and overlooked the part.
thank you for your understanding and if you can tell me how much that bracket cost i will be happy to send you the money.

fia is actually a good shop to me that is. i posted up a thread on me getting a ticket and without even asking fia they pmed me and offered to help me get my carb sticker from injen. thats going above and beyond the service that they provide. i even ask whats the catch and they said nothing. this was about a month ago but i am still waitin for the carb sticker. one cant complain if they have never been there.

its like watching a movie. people will say it sucks and dont waste your money on it.. but others say its good and go watch it. whats the cost money? i say just try them out and see if its any good if not then its an experience learned.

i say+1 for FIA

I've taken my car to Sammy befor. He is a very knowlegable guy when it comes to suby's! He did my clutch for half of what other people were charging... And he put up with the time restraints I put on him. Man he even took a customer and friends (in his own car) to the SF Mall while their car was getting worked on... now thats customer service right there!

+1 FIA

thanks guys , i really appreciate the support, i apologize for loosing my temper, I just dont like people accusing me when i am wrong. If i am wrong then you have right to do what you see fit with me, but until then i should not have to put up with crap just because i have to defend my shop. Again thank you very much for your kind words and we will keep serving those who come to us.

im going to use Mike as an example for this one. if someone stole something from him and made accusations about wages, he wouldnt come on here like this, spewing swear after swear every five words. he'd do it calmly. shows what type of mentality Sammy appears <---- to have. someone like that, drop a coffee mug and he would probably let go like a freshly castrated bull in a china shop....

i respect Jeremy and Crucial, and probably will to the day i die, mainly because they havent given me a reason not to. if anyone comes on here with a negative comment about him or his business, im gonna turn a blind eye on it, knowing it very well its most likely not true, same as if someone cast a negative eye on Mike, or Paul, or Ed. i dont care who the hell you are, you CANNOT come on here and start posts like that, no matter how mad you are. it makes you look bad in our eyes. dont forget the Gruppe-S fiasco on here as well as NorCalEvo that may not have killed the shop, but did put two or three nails in their coffin. trust me, you dont want any early nails, do you?

Post

Just as a quick follow-up:

Every now and then somebody has a gripe with my company for whatever reason. It's inevitible. Even when they're misunderstandings, they don't get presented that way at first.

When I see a post online or even get a private e-mail from somebody who is not happy, let alone a person who is pissed!, it's really painful. Literally there's a brief moment of the feeling you get going over the big drop on that roller coaster ride... like physically in your stomach. Why??? Well, because this it literally my livelyhood. I am out on a limb, trying to run a business. It is my only source of income and if something negatively affects the business, it DIRECTLY affects me. It's not a hobby, it's not for fun (although sometimes, yeah, it's fun ). ...and I'm pretty young so I don't even have commitments besides debts to pay and rent to pay (and I'm supporting a long-term g/f through law school but we're not married so I suppose it doesn't really count)...

Other people, who may or may not be in this particular thread , have families, children, etc to support. Stuff like this LITERALLY affects their livelyhood. When the shoe is on the other foot, it feels like an affront to you and your livelyhood... might as well literally ****** the bread out of a person's mouth.

I'm saying this because I want you to realize why vendors in general (I have seen it MANY many times!!!) can be so incredibly defensive sometimes. I REALLY try not to do that, but you have to understand that you're not just insulting somebody in a playful, non-important way. It hits home and it's very real.

Please understand this is NOT a right or wrong on my part. I'm not making judgements. People DEFINITELY have the right to publicly express grievances against a person or company... hopefully, of course, only when these grievances are actually founded and they have actually tried to settle them with the person/company in question first; but whatever. The point of this is to try and explain WHY you see reactions like that. Imagine it was your business, your only source of income, and the things posted were absolute falacies. You'd freak out.

>>>> Starting a business is sort of like taking a new job. Except, with this job you have to come up with a HUGE amount of cash -- either your own cash that you've saved for many years or with a loan, which means you're in debt and owe this cash to a bank -- in order to start the job. From your earnings you can pay back this cash after a couple/few years. You have to do really, really well or you get fired and you're either out that huge amount of cash or you're stuck w/ a huge loan that you HAVE to pay off or you're f'ed. So you're doing well and you're doing well and then some coworker decides they hate you and they send an e-mail to the bosses saying you swear at your customers and stab them with soldering irons. Maybe some of the bosses don't believe it... but maybe a couple of them do... so... how do you feel when you see that e-mail CC'd to you in your inbox and know all of the bosses just got it?

It's hard, mang(s). And I wouldn't have it any other way. But you want to know about swearing? That's where swearing comes from.

Jeremy

Why are you fueling fire to this drama Rau? When someone does something nice and get spit in the face, you have the right to be human and have emotions. Sure he owns a shop, but emotions are what makes us human. He lent his worker a set of coilovers that probably cost more than a grand, a gesture that shows how nice he really is. When you do something nice, and the other guys STEALS something you lent him, you should get mad. That's like getting stabbed in the back.

There are too many people on the boards pretending that top notch service is required 100% of the time, but in reality, somethings are out of the control of the shop owners. There's definitely a mob mentality based on these boards and one always following the other. You guys use to love Gruppe-s with all your "+1 Gruppe-s" posts, but now you guys are bashing them.

I am sure FIA and Sammy do not mind negative comments as things sometimes get messed up. I'm sure he'll respectively respond to legitimate complaints and comments. I am sure he will stand behind his shop and make things right. But when someone comes in and talk crap, and not respectively stating his experience or even accurately, AND the fact that it is something personal and have to do with the law, then I think he has the right to express his opinion. He actually has the right do say whatever he wants because this is a public message board.

Lastly, you cannot tell someone from their "forum personality". People seem to have less respect and run their mouths on here. Something they wouldn't do in real life.

With all this drama, everyone has to remember that shop owners are not some God who's perfect. They have wives and kids, and when one of you post about how bad their experience is with a shop, it IS personal. Next time one of you think about bringing it up on the boards, make sure to try and get everything right first. Because when someone like Eckshero comes in and tells another potential customer not to go to his shop because of misinformation, this happens and people argue and are unhappy.

I think people who have no experience with the shop or the owners shouldn't comment in threads like this because it comes to a "I heard from a friend of a friend" kind of thing and you know how much misinformation that turns into. (Remember the middle school game telephone where one person whispers to another and on and on, and after the end the word becomes so misconstrued. It was quite a fun game)

1) i am not adding fuel to the internet fire. i a stating a point.
2) i am NOT basing this on his internet persona. i AM basing it on a comparison of his internet persona and his actual persona, as i HAVE met Sammy in person before. and on that day, he appeared to be the exact same as i see him on the forums.

i mean no disrespect, but anyone on here who knows me knows that i am blunt and to the point. i will call and state things AS I SEE IT. and that is how i see it.
