We set our prices based on the fact that we would have to deal with warranty issue and have to pay the dealership a percentage as well. If the car dies in the middle of the street we are the one's who will have to go collect it, not Steven's Creek nor Ed. So if the question here is that the price is expensive ? It 110% is, can you replicate the same service some where else, you 110% cannot.
All new cars purchased from our network of dealerships and modified by us will carry a new car warranty. Now can we build a 500whp car and have that warrantied? no we cannot. We have come up with a program that allows for basic mods and a tune from ED to be serviced under warranty as some things that were mutualy agreed upon by us and the dealership network.

People have different options and preferences when it comes to tunes, but we chose Ed because we believe that he know's his work and has been a stand up guy with us. We have had no issues with his tunes over the years and are happy to use him for this program.

Understood.

One question regarding the warranty thing:

Lets say a 07+ Stage2 (widely considered to be basically modified) with all parts bought through you blows a ringland (semi-common), what is the warranty procedure?

We help you get a new block, we have already done that in two cases and this was not even bought through us, but a geniune engine failure not the tuners fault. If the community needs help and the issue is actualy because of a Subaru part failure , we are here to help you. Please understand that we will make a case for you, but if SOA finds it to be not helpful than there is nothing anyone can do about it. I cannot promise any thing but ourselves along with the guys at the dealerships will go to bat for you.

Hope this helps.
