i just use latex gloves

 

sears sells mechanix. they go on sale for 9.99 at times. im eyeballing these black ones with black mechanix lettering. mad stealth ftw!

 

I do too on certain tasks but mechanic gloves will save your knuckles and allow you to work on parts that are still a bit warm.

i dont use gloves.... i pull out if its too hot.

 

Man, i wasted like $30 on these gloves from Matco that i used for maybe a week. Now i just use black latex gloves and use a rag when ever i need to pull off something hot. Thick padded gloves get in the way for the most part.

 

i buy my Black Stallion gloves for $13. Best gloves ever, i'd pay $40 for them. Super reinforced yet comfy.

those black stallions look nice, got to check out that shop.

 

the fingertips wear out, even though they are dual layered. Takes a lot to wear them out though. I was moving pieces of concrete when a pair of mine started to come apart. But all other jobs they will last a long time.
