Here's the situation, my wife camry broke the timing belt so I towed it to a shop. Now I have usually worked on my own cars until recently. It's been about two weeks since I picked it up for my wife, she finally tells me its acting strange. I drove it home right after it was fixed and oticed nothing. So today I look under the hood and the belt for the alternator was loose, three out of four spark plug wires are not plugged all the way in, the timing cover is cracked, and the oil is over filled. I will go through it tomarrow to check other things but what the hell do I say or do to the mechanic.

Hey dorifto, thats the problem I have with talking to the mechanic. I really like getting my way. When I wrote this last night I was contemplating all sort of unique solutions. I think I'll just try and take it back. How's the car doing dorifto, keys staying close by now

yah its hard to find a really good mechanic/friend that doenst try to screw you over for more cash =(

 

as a shop owner, my advice is to take it back and let them fix the issues and if still not fix !!!then do what you need to..... like kick dorifto's butt lol..
