Why doesn't McD's just leave it as a permanent item on the menu already?!

Because we would all be supersized if they did! I love the Mcrib, I remember 15 years ago there was a McD's that had them all the time, right out of Santa Barbra, I would get 3 on my way home every time...and they were .99 cents! Those were the days They also had the "big and nasty" for .99 cents...

last time I was in Hollywood, they had a McD's there that had them on the $1 menu. Got 3 on my drive back north. Needless to say, no bueno...

Yeah, I think it was like some sorta cross-promotion with the Flintstones or something IIRC.

I sometimes eat the McRib from time to time when it actually makes an appearance. I don't eat it for the flavor as much as I do for the pure novelty factor. Novelty just adds 80% of the flavor. The 20% is the (too damn) sweet BBQ sauce. I know it's terrible for me, but it makes me feel like a kid again.

Oh yea, McRib locator.
