another lazy mom/dad blaming the government for not doing parents' jobs

Someone should start a viral ad to collect 100,000 happy meal toys, and dump it on their front lawn one morning

This is retarded. She's suing Mickey-D's just because she can't calm down and restrain her kids?

It's all on the parents. I think the ban on Happy Meal toys is excessive, that is just going too far. Mickey-D's, despite offering a large majority of unhealthy food, shouldn't be forced to stop offering the Happy Meal toys.

I understand people trying to make people healthier, but obviously not everyone wants to be healthy.

A bit like CAFE, 60-ish MPG is such an unrealistic goal (or whatever it was). Not everyone wants a fuel-efficient vehicle. Imagine if the WRX and STI were forced to be made gasoline-electric hybrids, it would be horrible. (although I'm sure that's not happening)...

There's a joke in there somewhere dealing with a her inability to say "no" and how she had a kid to begin with.

Is it ethical to start an anti-obese/ no fatties non profit group?

**** is getting ridiculous. If health care passes, WE ARE ****ED BY UNHEALTHY FATTIES! If there was war tomorrow and a draft, all us skinny guys would be supremely shat on. Hard working Americans would be shat on.

This is going to be dismissed as a frivolous lawsuit.

I'm thinking that frivolous lawsuits like this are just the byproduct we have to pay for an otherwise effective and necessary tool to maintain the system's checks and balances. So they're gonna happen. Most will be dismissed. Vote for smart, reasonable judges.

Obese couples should alter their lifestyle, it isn't hard to eat healthy and exercise I do it daily.

well not exactly.

but obviously being obese isnt healthy so they should do their best to make sure the kid doesn't grow up the same way. While of course this isn't always true, most of the time it turns out this way

I'm just saying if i was ever overweight and had a child I would absolutely not want them to be the same way. You could look at it as a way to improve yourself at the same time as difficult as that may be

Why bother when the gov't should take care of that for you? You are just wasting energy that could be better used racking up debt.
