McDonald's in another lawsuit

In short a mother is suing Mikey D's because of the toys that come with Happy Meals. SF already banned putting toys in the meals and now this. My thought on this is who is the ****ing parent here? Your kid is a fat lazy sack of **** because you raised them to be that way. Last time I checked kids didn't work 9-5 jobs and the ones in this world that do definitely don't make enough to buy ****ing happy meals! Man up and raise your kids right you ****ing lazy turds.

"I can tell them 'No' all day long, but then they see commercials that convince them you've really got to have this," Parham said. Her 6-year-old daughter Maya especially likes the toys that come with McDonald's Happy Meals. With a smile, the first grader says opening a Happy Meal is like "a birthday present."
"No."

There, that wasn't that hard, was it? What ever happened to, "What your mother and father tell you is LAW"?

My kids know that when we say "no," it means "no". If they still whine, "That's enough," IS enough to end the conversation. Maybe I am just lucky to have good kids... or maybe I am raising them to know that "no" is not "yes, but only if you complain more."

She gets over it pretty quickly, though.

I agree that mcdonalds should stop including toys into with the kids meal's. That's millions of dollars that remains in America and not spent on paying China to make those stupid useless little toys. But parents need to take responsibility for their kids.

"McDonald's knows that kids like toys more than they like the burgers, so they dangle these little toys in front of kids to pester their parents to take them to McDonald's," Jacobson said. "It's a trick that works. It's unfair to kids, they are being totally manipulated and it's unfair to parents who have the company going behind their back using this toy trick to get their kids to pester them."
I'm sorry but are you ****ing kidding me???

everyone is out for the money. I mean mcdonalds is bad for health and what not but wtf these people are straight retarded. To legitimately believe this or have this actually work for you you'd have to be incredibly weak minded. such bs

better -

If your kid is pestering you constantly to bring them to mcdonalds because of cheap toys.... Hit them
lol

but really it sounds like present parents really need some help. The whole point is that the kid follows the rules of the parents not the other way around. Behavior like this creates little bastards in the future

I agree it's ultimately up to the parents to decide and watch what their kids eat.

If this lawsuit is allowed to go forward, CPS should then be allowed to arrest the parents of obese children.

Every time I see an obese child, I want to slap the parent(s).

I agree.

Whenever I see an obese couple with a small child I think its so sad because that kid is going to grow up fat...
