The Matrix Unloaded

So I figured I needed to watch 'Reloaded before the final Matrix movie came out. Wow, what a disappointment. I don't really mind if the fight scenes were the same ol' same ol' ... but they weren't. They were drier and much longer. The fight scenes became intermissions for getting a snack or taking a ****. And at the end, I got the story line but I realized some things didn't make sense to me. Hey, that's OK. It wouldn't be the first time I've needed to watch a movie twice. (Can we say De Laurentis' original _Dune_ ). But realizing I needed to watch it again to really soak the whole move in, I also realized that I really didn't want to watch it again

Lastly, that chase scene had some neat moments... it would have been nice through if they had showcased at least a little driving skill instead of just Matrix tricks. (Heck, the fight scenes showcase human skill) The scene may have been as long, but it certainly wasn't no _Bullitt_

The movie is ok, not as good as the first. the scene that got to me the most was the entire rave scene. It sucked ****.

Her character's name was Persephone, pronounced as per-SEF-un-ee. Yeah, she is hot. I hope they bring her back for Revolutions. She shoulda worn her Reloaded dress in Tears of the Sun.

Sorry guys but i LOVE the film. Sure, first off i was a little let down, but before it even came out in the theaters they said this was the "bubblegum" connection between 1-and-3. more of just an action vessel. After watching it 5 times i find more and more with each watching.

There is a lot there just below the surface. Take the time and find it. It's worth it.

Can't wait for the 3rd.

Ya, I liked it more the 2nd time I watched it...

But no, its not NEARLY as good as the first one. The first one was like a miracle, this more like Return of the Jedi...

We just watched the second one last night. It's definately not the first, but the car chase seen is off the hook. Definately one of the best scenes evar.

Granted it there are cars that were filled in to make it look crazier, but it's still off the hook.

I don't think the 2nd or 3rd movies will compare to the first movie, but really what can?

:banana: The banana for good measure.

Think Reloaded is great for what it is, Part 2,
it explains the story, and does exactly what its suppose to do, a direct setup for the next movie. any direct sequal really can't live up to a movie that was so awesome, the original matrix. and it wasn't created in such, if you compare the original to the sequal on equal ground, yeah, the original wins hands down, but reloaded by its own right is a good movie compared to a lot of the crap that we have in america. i so much adore the monologues in reloaded. i give props to the matrix series for going mainstream and allowing the major mass of stupidity that is the general public to have a chance to be intellectually stimulated. if they payed attention.

edited cuz i just realized i started to rant ^^;

I don' lyke worthless sequels lyke Matrix 2, was very uninspiring...agreed, action scenes were bongrip/drink a 12pak time...

In my book, sequel must be able to stand on its own; obviously not this one...
