I listened to the song when you first posted it, but you probably should have clarified that earlier. Song's pretty funny.

 

I just see three types of crazy.

The sad part is, the Bible Thumper is voicing an opinion that just isn't true. He's soapboxing, and I just don't know where in the Bible Jesus acted like this. And this is coming from someone who is, and was raised, Christian.

Mark Mark Mark seems to have anger issues, and is blindly defending his pastor (maybe?), and that's equally dangerous as misinterpreting how to share your faith with others.

And the kid... Shoot, man. This kid is in trouble. Based upon his reaction he needs some serious emotional/medical help. I've seen people act like this (*cough cough* ex-girlfriends *cough cough*) and this is the same type of actions a person who is off their meds makes. Completely irrational, throwing caution to the wind, and sporadic.

Very sad all around.

 

That's what I was saying - persecution is not spreading the word. Religion and belief are two different things also IMO. When religion becomes twisted to an individual's agenda it becomes an issue and this "angry god" interpretation is completely counter to what I feel it is supposed to be about.
