I've heard of family problems and fights breaking out during Thanksgiving but man this man takes the cake. I wonder what was going on in his head when he decided to shoot his own family members.. Yet alone how could he shoot a little girl who was sleeping in her bed..
Lives ended and for what? It's amazing how the selfishness of one can lead to such turmoil.
Horrible news . May they all rest in peace and condolences to the families.

It's a damn shame that he didn't just take his own life... What a pathetic piece of ****... How can you even think of killing a little girl as she slept? It's bad enough that he killed the adults, but the fact that he murdered a little girl as she slept makes me sick to my stomach. ****ing bastard!

Yeah, wrong video but you can see the story on CNN or other news stations, I just saw it on TV. Def not the same story.

Paul Michael Merhige is Still at Large After Shooting His Family at Thanksgiving Dinner - Killing 4
Something went horribly wrong at one Florida Family's Thanksgiving dinner. Paul Michael Merhige of Miami, had dinner with his family, left and then returned shortly after with a handgun, shooting and killing family members. He shot one little six year old girl
as she slept. She later died after being taken by helicopter to the hospital.
Paul Michael Merhige then fled the home and is still at large. Police say he is armed and dangerous. He left the family's home driving a blue, four- door 2007 Toyota Camry. The license plate is Florida W427JT. Merhige was last seen at 10 pm, Thursday, Thanksgiving night.
Seventeen relatives were at the house celebrating the holiday when the mass shooting began. All the victims were related to Merhige, with two of the women being his sisters who were twins. Carla and Lisa Knight, 33, Merhige's died at the scene as did Raymonde Joseph, 76, his aunt. Little 6 year old Makayla Sitton died after being airlifted to a hospital. She was Merhige's second cousin.
Another victim is in critical condition Clifford Gebara, 52, a cousin of Merhiges'. A sixth victim, Patrick Knight, husband of Lisa Knight, was treated and released from the hospital.
Neighbors called 911 as relatives made their way out of the house screaming for help. Relatives reported that Paul Michael Merhige had an on going resentment towards family members. He was a quest in the home for dinner.
The Thanksgiving dinner was at the home where the six year old victim lived. The father of the child, James Sitton, is a journalist for a Florida television station. His words were, ""I just want to let everyone know that she's in heaven; we know where she is, and that's the only reason I can stand here today," he said in an interview with WPTV."God has blessed us with a beautiful little girl and he just took her home."
The US Marshals are assisting local Florida police in the man hunt. Again, Paul Michael Merhige is armed and dangerous. If anyone sees him they are asked to call local police.
