keep your head up Sean. i know what you mean by stupid teenage driving mistakes. yours wasn't one of them. but when you push the limit sometimes you exceed it and stuff like this happens. this thread is sorta assholic. if and when something happens to Zoeb, you can be sure karma will have its way.

if you can, take some of the Doc Wong car control classes, autocross, or do a couple track days. tracking has certainly helped me a lot.

this is coming from another Sean who crashed within 2 months of getting his driver's license. since then? clean.

Good example of why you should buy a beat up car when you get your drivers license.

In my 150k+ miles of driving... I had one bad accident... and it was in my first year of driving. My driving mistake was not unlike yours... it was cuz I was a teenager. You have to tell yourself it was because you are a teeneager and you need to settle down behind the wheel. I thought I was a racer too when I was that age.... and I guarantee that in a couple years you'll be 10x the driver you are today. It's pretty easy to get in a crippling accident.. and you don't want to learn that hard way.

Wiggins' truck was sent into a spin.

Actually, even nice cars can be directed away from in-animate objects with the right guidance. I'd say it's a good example of why learning how to drive is a good idea before going beyond one's limits.

August 6th bring your *** down to BMW driving clinic.

In fact, they have a class made for kids 16-19 years old. I think you fit in to that category still, show this to your parents, they can thank me later:

The forum has issue with the [] brackets so here is a tiny url:

The event is May 7, 8:00am - 5:00pm @ Candlestick Park in San Francisco.

The next car control clinic is in Marina on August 6th, its an all day event as well.
Here is a tiny URL that will forward you to the page:

I am going to the clinic in August (SF Miami and MBQuarts are coming too, arent you boys? ;P ) and encourage others to go. I need to become a member still which I have been meaning to do. :x

And the car one was coming out of a dirt parking lot, a bit to fast and a bit to sideways. (yes again a stupid mistake, but not a stupid teenager mistake that you usually see)
Sorry to flame you man, but that made no sense what so ever.
So what is the difference between a stupid teenage mistake, and a regular mistake?

To me, both of the above sound like accidence that happened because you were careless, think your invinceable at times (like a lot of teens with stupid fast cars do), and you don't know the physics of driving a car.

Please, please, please, PLEASE! before you go on any "drives" with people, get some more experience.
define yourself a lower set of limits for what you can and cant do with driving, then perfect those skills.

Again, sorry to flame, but if you can't drive out of a parking lot without hitting something, why should you drive on public streets?

drive carefully, you are extremely fortunate to have the wonderful car your parents got for you, I couldn't see them letting you keep it if you keep crashing in to ****.
