Lowballers on NASIOC

What's up with all the lowballers on NASIOC these days?

I've had people offer me:

$250 for my unmarried Cobb AP
$40 for my OEM underseat subwoofer w/ harness

Just to name a few

I wish I got my AP for $250...the funny thing about the AP's, is I see people selling 02/03's for $600...they are 595 from Cobb

and the cool thing about AP's is that they dont get wear and tear...so they dont depreciate in value!

That is why you should specify the amount you want out of an item you're selling. It saves time and avoid low ballers.

But $250 for the AP is unreal!

It doesn't. I specify prices in all of my "for sale" ads, and I still get PMs from lowballers. Saying "no" works though, and I eventually find someone willing to buy it at my fair asking price... I had a kid ask to buy the AP from my STi for a couple hundred dollars below what I wanted. I told him "no thanks." He told me that the amount I was asking for was too high, that I'd never sell it, etc. A couple weeks after I initially put my thread up, I sold it for the amount I wanted.

So, just use your best judgment. I've had to hold on to certain items for several months until I finally got a fair offer.

Now if you need cash ASAP...

the AP is a lowball, but $40 for your used amp/sub is about the going rate.

Hardly. Happens just as bad here, and on the previous forum I frequented (Focaljet).
