Glad you sold it. If I'm going to buy something used local, it better be a deal.

Unless you bring it to my house, I have to factor in the time and aggravation of going out to inspect and possibly buy it and the realistic chance of the seller flaking on me.

For a while, I use to be super nice and meet with people at reasonable distances but now with the constant waste of time. I will only meet buyer within my comfort zone as many I have met ended up low-balling some more after price is agreed on. Screw the shenanigans.

ugh lame.

People get the cars cheap and that is the budget they have. You gotta pay to play.

Thanks, and I'm glad it's out of my hair, or at least off my carpet. To my surprise, my buyer drove all the way down from Sac to SJ actually, in his rex no less. I'd have shipped it to save him the hassle had I known, probably would have been less than the gas (he had some species of 2.5 swap and other mods).

I was describing this to a friend the other day. Not to make a class issue of it, but I think Subies historically holding value well helped keep the riff raff out of the scene, though maybe these days mommy and daddy don't know what even a stock WRX is capable of.

I've been blessed with the people who actually come through paying the agreed price and frequently coming to me for sale. In that way I guess it's good that other kids have just tepidly asked via email, but it still wastes me time to take each inquiry in earnest until it's clear they don't know what they're in for.

If you have to ask...
