Has assclownery always been the status quo for selling car parts, or is it a particular breed of degeneracy amongst the otherwise healthy and upright Subaru community?

I just want the damn header sold, and think it asinine to take *any* hit off what I paid for it, as I never put it on my car. Offers are being taken, but parts are also not being given away.

I bought it for my 04 WRX, and know it will fit that, but as for other
MYs, I'm only as smart as Google is.

Logically, if say 04-07 (might be even 02-07, dunno) headers are
compatible with 11+, then yes, it will fit. But look before you leap
and check that first.

About a quarter to a third of an inch. Didn't I answer that already?

If you want a slammed car, the Teins will get you there, assuming they
can be used on the Forester (and without Impreza top hats assuming
that's an issue - I don't think I've ever even been inside a Forester,
so I don't know).

I don't know how much if at all the WRX springs will lower the car
either. If you have to ask these kinds of things, I'd do some more
research. Join a forum, there are many, ask away.

This isn't worth my time anymore.

Not uncommon, in fact you plan on it, to have people come in at about 33-50% of your asking price. Brand new $200 Eagle gloves: "Would you take $50 shipped to Nova Scotia?"

Most parts, if I can get 30% of retail, I call it a win.

 

Boils down to cheap crap flooding the market, and cheap stuff in general.

More than just get-off-my-lawn old cootery diatribes about how it was better back in the day, I've read pieces on how in the past it actually served everyone better in the long run to err on the side of quality over quantity, before massive mass production and planned obsolescence were standard operating procedure.

Making goods to last raises initial sale prices, but keeps the resale high too.

Naw brah, I'm not offended, any more than I am in day to day sub-standard interactions with my less than fellow man. Just lamenting the arbitrary drop in value from parts merely changing hands (as said, nothing ever was installed).

You might have better luck on ebay with the used new parts.

 

Yeah, that or Nazicoc. Always figured people would be more keen for local deals to save on shipping or to inspect the parts in person, but as seen, logic isn't necessarily on the table.

 

i feel your pain... it's not u. lowballers belong on craigslist where no one gives a ****, not in a community/forum like i-club. throughout the years it has gotten worse, to the point where people even tell me how i should price my parts lol! yet when i seen them post stuff they ask top dollar, like barely below normal retail and then bump their parts every hour lol.

 

The worst offenders have all been Craigslist, yeah.


Maybe if me and brother convince my mom to get a fozz I can just drop the parts in there. I'm caring less and less at this point
