i dont mind it so much it just doesnt work with the norcal freeways cuz we have too many syllables. 880 680 580... especially when you add cardinal directions to it. 5, 10, 1... these fwys have one syllable each. much easier to add the THE in front of them.

yeah i miss those days of scic. subyspecialties and the tire rack in el monte FTMFW.

A lot less traffic? I would've slapped you if you told me that last Friday when I was on my way from Daly City to pick up my sister at Fairfield. I left at 2PM and got there at 4PM. I must have set a personal record for most expletives shouted in 2 hours

I was so stressed from the traffic, I was actually glad my sister wasn't finished packing yet (she needs me to drive her to SFO airport) so I could rest for a bit. We left at 5:30PM and got to the airport a few minutes past 8PM.

.....on the weekends it only takes an hour (one-way) to do the same trip at a relaxed 65-70mph pace.

About the SoCal discussion - I've only been there 3 times. I quickly learned that I need some caffeine (or anything to keep me alert) and reliable brakes out there
