is this suppose to be surprising? its a k04ed S4? with 384 whp. i would think it would have beat the sti by ALOT more.

that guy spent probably close to 30k just for the mods to his S4. trust me, i used to have one. nice cars on the hiway. id love to see those 2 cars go at it in the canyons...... S4's are heavy cars, and they dont handle nearly as well as a STi or wrx. ive had both, and although the S4 is a awesome car, id take the STi any day of the week.

The owner said he paid around $12k-20k. I don't remember. Both are great cars nonetheless.

 

you mean "STI's have some competition" Because "heavily modded wrx's" would do the same to an Sti. Just like that Audi did.

ahh the hell with it.

He knew I wanted to go...and he ofcourse thought he would win. Both times I was ahead about a car length. Til about mid to high 4th. (past 1/4 mile) Then he flew by me. But After the first run, he wouldnt look and was more determined to win. But after the second, thats when he said I had a chip. I told him.."no I have a bigger turbo and remaped ECU plus some other things...not bad for a 2.0 4 banger". He was like "wow thats cool". Then I asked if that was a C5, and he said all proud "nope, it's a Z06...I love the torque"!!

I was embarassed for him after he said that...LOL. He was cool about it. Next on my list is a Viper. But I also have more mods on the way...that way I might have a chance hahaha
