Looks like LS swaps aren't for Zs and Miatas anymore!!!

2002 wrx Ls swap 6.0 built 580hp 6speed sti

Last place I'd think to remove AWD though.

Huh? An LS swap into a Subaru is easily BARd. It's also probably cheaper doing LS/t56 compared to a JDM 207/6 speed like most people do.

I would not call the Bar process "easy"

Engine Change Guidelines

It can be done, but the referee can make it a painful process. For the small number of people in CA doing this, they really should only care about tail pipe emission and safety, but you are held to a higher standard than that.
