Looking for work...
I just got my hours cut at work and I've decided I've had enough of this crap. So I'm looking for work. I'm a graphic designer. 10 years experience with print design. Software like InDesign, Quark, Photoshop and Illustrator. I can do design through production. Anything from business cards to logos, wedding invitations to billboards.
I am just getting into web design at this moment. I am working on my first 2 websites right now. I don't program but do have a small amount of knowledge on how it works, html etc.
I need a job or even some side work would be nice.
If you need samples I can put together a printed portfolio for mail or I can email a pdf with a couple pieces.
I've decided if things don't start moving up here in the next 6 months I'm most likely going into the police department. In the meantime I'll keep working and start getting my fat butt into better shape.

I'll try and host a few PDF's of different things and get them on by weeks end.
God willing I'll be back at work tomorrow.
I'll probably post up a couple packages I did and some business collateral. I can't put the web stuff up as it's not on the web yet. And some of the resent packaging hasn't hit the shelves yet. I can't put anything like that up or I'll get sued.

My Girlfriend is a designer, and has way too much work right now. She may need someone to crank out some stuff and help with the load. If you have a website up with your portfolio I can send it along.

and never refer to html as web design again
HTML is no longer designing the web but creating structure through XHTML and CSS.Plus CSS is a hell of a lot easier to make sites with than HTML. CSS gives you complete control.
