Looking for a trusted mechanic shop in SF
My trust for LIC and RBMS Auto(Mert) is at the same level, hence why I listed them together. In my mind the two shops are interchangeable as far as quality of service, trust, honesty and integrity. GST was listed #2 only because it would be silly to have 3 shops fill the #1 slot.

I'm with Glen on this for you I would recommend taking it to
1.AA Motorworks
2.Auto HQ
Both shops are good and in your area. I have worked with both of them in the past and both are good guys
Now as for bear's list Ill just fix those locations for you

Thank you for all the shop recommendations! I did check all the ones that were on the "NorCal Shop Info *NEWBIES LOOK HERE." But I wanted to know if anyone knew of any places like in the city of SF? I've done some searching around my area as I live in Outer Sunset. I came across this mechanic shop called, "Toy Shop" in Richmond.

IMHO, LIC Motorsports is #1 in the Bay Area, and people driving from Santa Cruz and Eureka to have them service their cars agree.
Be cautious about the people who claim to be Subaru Master Technicians...they don't seem to be able to tell the difference between bank 0 and bank 1, and put the cam sensor in on the wrong side...
...just to have LIC diagnose the flashing cel and install a new one from an STI to get us on the road (sometime after 6 at night).
I believe that they are #873 on the list.
