Looking for cheap spring install near the 831

Hey all, I'd like to get my springs & RSB swapped out. I live on in the Monterey area so something within an hours drive would be best (Santa Cruz, south SJ, Cupertino etc...).

Thanks!

~Shaun

Shops out here are asking a lot for this job, anyone know a decent shade-tree wrencher or shop that won't charge an arm & a leg for a spring swap?

I used to do a lotta work on my Stang, but Suby suspension just looks a lil too intimidating for me. I don't want free dental work from a released spring :/

I switched out my own springs and from what ive read the front springs will. This is not a big deal at all just go to kragen or NAPA and rent a spring compressor. Switching out springs really isn't that bad at all just make sure you got an extra hand.

go rent a spring compressor if you're scared. the top hats won't shoot off THAT bad with the WRX compared to some other cars, but you can rent a compressor from a plethora of places.

Haha sorry I meant to say I have also done some without the compressor just by pushing down but I forget if those were on a Subie or an RSX

Either go to Performance Cafe (behind the Monterey Airport) or Moore Performance which is near the auto dealerships in seaside. Performance Cafe does mainly work on VW's, and Moore does great work too, but most of their work is on older muscle cars.

That or just pay me and I'll do it
