It's possible, but most people with thank kind of swap don't sell too often. Sf.org has some smoking deals sometimes.

Hmmm I guess I might need to do some research on how much to list up my car for then.

yea you should, but then again you have the sports front end so it should go for more money

Yes if you're willing to travel and wait for the right deal. It might be a high mileage car (130k+) as far as chassis is concerned though.

If you look at the prices of FXTs in rest of country, they sell for almost 50-75% of what they cost in California.

Now if you're looking for a cherry car under 100k etc, its gonna be close to 20k with the 6spd.

Let me put it this way. When I saw the posting that Steven's Creek Subaru threw onto Craigslist for my 04 Forester XT 5 spd., I called and said I'd be down at 5:30. I drove home at 9pm with that car.

Rare. Wonderful vehicles. And rare.
