$151 shipped, equal legnth headers, GP Moto rip offs most likely. Like any other Ebay part Quality/Performance is judged on a part-by-pat basis, though the fit/finish of this piece looks much better than most other Ebay knock-off, tig welds are as good as any I've seen from most other big name makers. I just put down 270whp/301wtq at Gruppe-S with stock VF39, Gruppe-s V2 headers, Helix catted DP and borla Hush on 91 oct tune. Going to swap these on and run them again and post in reviews section, any preliminary predictions? closest guess gets an IPA on me at Columbus Cafe bar here in SF

Haha, yes they are. Ask him how many times he had them welded after cracking and then ask me what I removed from this car today with more cracks in than the old Oprah!

damn it jeremy. I have the urge to go for the highest dyno numbers on the stock vf39 on the gruppe-s dyno

Would get the vf 39 coated and ported, wrap the DP, headers, wastegate helper spring,and add a meth kit.

Has anyone hit 300whp on the vf39 yet?

 

im going to play devils advocate here and say theyll last a few dyno sessions and crack on the way home lol
btw nice meeting u today at LIC jeremy (i was the guy taking out the seats of both those RS's lol)

 

i doubt it will hold it's own weight bolted to the motor let alone a turbo connected to it.

anyhow, I half expected to have to throw another bead of tig on top of the welds, that not a prob, I'll check out where Derricks took a **** and double up on those welds, other than that, I think design wise their pretty sound, and yeah, I can already see the look on your face mike

 

I got a Borla for pretty cheap, and since I knew they can't kick the crack, I took them to a welder/fab guy I trust and had him work his magic on it. He re-did most of the welds and it looked great when I got it back. Have to see if this one cracks like the rest, but might be worth a try if you know a good welder.

Other than that, damn - get some tempered glass and make a coffee table, that thing is purdy!

 

i still say it will last one or 2 dyno runs...then crack
