My coworker's license plate says "DOODWTF" and he has had it for a few years now. He searches the web for people who comment about it - he saw a comment about it on a news website one time.

Long story short, he recently got an envelope from the DMV with new plates and a letter claming someone complained and he can't keep it any more. I swear, if people have that much time to (a) know what the license plate says, (b) get offended by it and (c) take the time to stand in line at the DMV just to complain... they have MAJOR issues.

What would happen if you complained about a certain letter arangement? Do they make you change it?

He said that when he went to the DMV to get the plate, the older lady who was helping him asked what it meant and he admits that he was probably drunk or high (or both) when he was there and on the fly came up with "Well, my group of friends from college always had a running joke about our friend Tom Finnegan and how we never knew where he was when we all went to do something. So the running joke is "Dude, where's Tom Finnegan?" The lady remarked, "oh, okay. Approved."

Then when he went to the DMV to pick it up (he had to for some reason), the young lady who gave them to him saw them and started laughing (obviously getting the joke).

its a license plate....focus on the road instead of getting offended by it. People need to suck it up sometimes.

I want a plate that says "wtfm8"

I tried "OMG WTF", "HAHAWTF" and neither went through. I think they are on to the WTF which sucks. I ended up with "GRR AARG" which I like actually. A friend has a huge truck w/ a 12" lift and he applied for "<3 2BEHI" which is just silly. Not sure why he thought that would work.. Haha.

does anyone remember the Carlos Mencia thing when he calls the DMV for a personalized plate and does different accents? He tries to get "Neegar" (with an Indian accent, says its his last name) and they say they wont do that one. Then he asks for "w-e-t-b-a-c-k" and it goes through.

While I don't always believe things I see on TV, I decided to check this out. "NEEGAR" is approved, "*******" was rejected...stupid Mencia
