Cool LOL...I just called Greddy USA

I just picked up a Greddy T518Z.....an 18G with 8CM^2 hotside. I called Greddy to see if they could supply a compressor map or some technical data.

Here's how it went:
ME: Im trying to find out the efficiency range of the turbo in terms of pressure
GREDDY: Can you hold on for a second?
ME: Sure
GREDDY: Hello Sir....we run that turbo at 0.9 Bar on cars.
ME: You do realize that .9 Bar is less than stock boost pressure.
GREDDY: Yes thats what we run them at safely.

Now this makes me think. Does Greddy have any clue as to what they are selling? I was so shocked that this guy didnt know anything that I just said thanks and hung up. He very well may have said that .9bar was considering stock ECU, but I wasnt about to pick his brain anymore.

I really have nothing more to say. Just interesting to say the least.

Thought this was the reason why not many people buy turbos from Greddy.

I've been looking for a new turbo for a while and Greddy was off my list from the start. I should have bought Krinkovs gt30r when I had the chance.
