First off... Who builds a skate pool without an easy way out?
What if someone gets hurt at the bottom, how will emergency crews help them and take them out?
Second... That kid does not know how to get out of a pool/halfpipe. I'm a big guy, and I know I would have been able to get out. You gotta run up one side a little bit, turn around, run down to get momentum. Then use that momentum to get all the way up the opposite side and wa la! out. I have used that technique many times before and it works.
