local VW guys I need help

My fiance has a 2004 VR6 GTI Golf and is in need of new suspension ASAP. I tried vwvortex but that has to be the worst format ever and I can not find a damn thing for help. What are you guys running for struts Is koni the best way to go?

My H&R coilovers were baller. I ran a set on a VW GTI '337' that came with 18" BBS wheels, and the ride was amazing for such a low setup. That thing was slammed, and handled amazing, but could still soak up the imperfections far better than JDM suspensions. That is the nice thing about Euro suspensions. I'd go with KW or H&R personally if there is something available for her car. If doing springs and struts, you might want to look at Koni and Bilstein, or Ohlins if they make something for her car.
