Local shops make the 6gun 05 sti hub conversion
6gun seems to be defunct.
Anyone have a local shop do a job like this? If so, how much?

05 STi 5x100 Front Hub Conversion Kit with Custom Knuckles for WRXs and STis
This upgrade includes 05+ STi hubs that have been machined with a 5x100 bolt pattern as well as knuckles machined to fit WRX and prior year STi struts. This kit will fit STis WRXs (Legacy, RS, and Forester fitment pending). While this kit does not allow users to utilize wide 5x114.3 wheels, it does provide the stronger, bolt on hubs. The kit can also be machined with an offset upright bolt hole to provide additional camber, negating the need for camber plates. We are offering this upgrade as a full kit which includes:
• (2) New 05 STi front knuckles machined to fit WRX and prior STi struts (custom camber settings optional)
• (2) New 05 5x100 STi front hubs/bearings
• (8) New bolts to attach hubs/bearings to knuckle
• (2) New 6 Gun Racing Speedo Gear Adapter Collars
• (10) New OEM lug studs installed in hubs

we have in the works and will be offering custom bump steer/roll center Knuckles and custom control arms very shortly...within a month or two. These can be used with 5x100 or 5x114.3 applications.
will do a release once they are ready

No I specifically want the beefier 05 sti hub and stronger hub bearings. Plus its and oppotunity to get neg camber with my wagon with sedan struts.

). Further more, I have a wagon with sedan struts (Ohlins) on it and have had to resort to the 2nd camber bolts in the lower to get neg camber back... and it can only max at -1.0
So... are your hubs going to be beefier to withstand the rigors of track days with less wear and maintenance?
Will they have better camber for people like me (wagons with sedan struts)?

ours will be a full race version (Chrome Moly), bushing delete (all spherical), 05 Sti hub/bearing.....not what you are looking for on the street.
*and being on Pinks require bump steer correction, at min a whiteline kit

no, you would not want to run any bump steer kit if you are at stock height as the geometry is in proper placement.
when you lower a vehicle it pulls up on the control arms, and you use a bump steer kit (which is nothing more than spaced out ball joints and tie rods to attempt to get proper OEM netural state back).

But you guys feel it is necessary then.
You said "at least" the WL kit... is the WL kit matched to a 10mm drop or is another kit better "matched"?

pink springs do not lower a car 10mm (3/8"), they lower at min 1"+
what springs do you have that lowered the car 10mm? you say pinks, they never made a STi pink spring that im aware of for a 06 wrx wagon.

They are "SPC wagon pinks" I bought used. Supposedly these:

Oops... you're right it says 15mm-22mm. Geez I've been thinking 10mm this whole time.

Ball joint:
stock = 88mm (figure based off a 2004 STi)
whiteline = 95mm (KCA313 Kit)
you can see the whiteline kit is very marginal at 7mm over stock but works fine for cars with 1-1.25" drop.
