yah i got this about a month ago its "different"

 

its not that its bad, its just different. so once i listen to it i will probably start to like it. thats how music works for me, sometimes i hate a song- then a week later it finally grew on me and i like it.

 

track 3 is good also 9
but thats about it

Track 4: Bleed it Out
Track 5: Shadow of the Day
Track 8: No More Sorrow

lol I guess I already like it more than I thought- It just wasn't what I expected.

 

that is the case for all of linkin park's studio musician written music...

 

Pretty disappointing after a 4 year hiatus (Collison Course with Jay-Z doesn't count). It was certainly lacking in the energy department and Chester just sounds a bit lazy.

 

I'll pic it up next paycheck and decide, I heard that they changed quite a bit compared to the old CD's.

i loved the previous two albums, but im not impressed by the long awaited new labum. We waited for 2 yrs and this is all we get? ... I hope they wont remix the hell outta this one.

 

The remix album, Reanimation, was a pretty dope project.

Linkon Park's version of the "Black Album"?

I do remember them complaining that they were just a rock/rap type band and they wanted to break the stereotype with this album. But judging from their one radio song and what you guys are saying it sounds like a swing and a miss.

 

"Black Album" was a classic, Jay-Z or Metallica. The new LP album just falls way short of that.

 

I've been having the album on repeat the whole day at work...........doesnt seem to be growing on me too quickly, and it probably won't get much further with me. Oh wells, i guess in the end, i'll save myself money by not wanting to go to their concert.
