So I'm a big fan of Linkin Park and just bought Minutes to Midnight today and was a bit surprised. I heard it was going to be a different sound, but I didn't think it would be so different. I don't think it's bad and I know it will grow on me... but it doesn't sound much like Hybrid Theory or Meteora. It's cool they have more of a variety of music I guess.

What do you think of the new cd if you've heard it?

yeah it came out today, it just doesnt sound as aggressive... you know what i mean? it sounds melancholy or sad... or just not upbeat lol

Has linkin park ever done an upbeat song? They're great when you're pissed off or feeling like dirt, but for doing the happy dance? not so much.
