Wow, this'll take some getting used to. I like Linkin Park, as long as I can tolerate the fact that it's the same emo subjects, but in a dozen different forms in one CD. Jay-Z, man, been a fan since Reasonable Doubt. I loved the collabs in Linkin Park's Re:Animation, so this new EP should be interesting. I just hope it ain't another Black Album remix project. Everyone and their moms have been remixing the hell out of that in the past year.

Anyway- this should be an interesting mix. The encore/numb worked, but only because of Jay's rap skills- he can flow to anything.

i heard it a couple of days ago. it's not bad, sounded more like a remix of numb than a collaboration. i'm sure if i hear it a couple more times i'll grow to like it. i just think it's cool they're getting together and doing this.

Can't blame Jay-Z for wanting to expand his demographic a bit more. I remembered playing "99 Problems" in my car where I had friends who normally don't listen to Jay-Z, let alone hip-hop music, dug that song alone. That single was real successful. When I first heard the Black Album a year ago, that song instantly struck me as a song that would appeal to a wider range of people and I knew it was gonna come out as a single anyway. So I can see Jay-Z wanting to expand the rock influenced tracks a bit more. However, I think Jay-Z's a few years behind on that though.
