Wow, this'll take some getting used to. I like Linkin Park, as long as I can tolerate the fact that it's the same emo subjects, but in a dozen different forms in one CD. Jay-Z, man, been a fan since Reasonable Doubt. I loved the collabs in Linkin Park's Re:Animation, so this new EP should be interesting. I just hope it ain't another Black Album remix project. Everyone and their moms have been remixing the hell out of that in the past year.

its kinda like all the black album remix, or atleast the sample i've heard, i have numb/encore... i like it

I hate both Linkin Park and Jay Z, I hope they both get killed in a violent missile related death.

I guess having them on the same stage all at once makes this a little more likely, huh?

Anyway- this should be an interesting mix. The encore/numb worked, but only because of Jay's rap skills- he can flow to anything.

i heard it a couple of days ago. it's not bad, sounded more like a remix of numb than a collaboration. i'm sure if i hear it a couple more times i'll grow to like it. i just think it's cool they're getting together and doing this.

hey KRZY, you have the mp3 for numb/encore? apparently they have all the tracks on kazaa but they are all 99 problems/points of authority/one step closer.

Linkin Park... HAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Hollandaze 11-07-2004 11:56 AM

Can't blame Jay-Z for wanting to expand his demographic a bit more. I remembered playing "99 Problems" in my car where I had friends who normally don't listen to Jay-Z, let alone hip-hop music, dug that song alone. That single was real successful. When I first heard the Black Album a year ago, that song instantly struck me as a song that would appeal to a wider range of people and I knew it was gonna come out as a single anyway. So I can see Jay-Z wanting to expand the rock influenced tracks a bit more. However, I think Jay-Z's a few years behind on that though.
