You can get the H-type license plate mounts from any auto shop and do it yourself. I did this with mine about 3 years ago, and it's still on. Just mount the plate holder with the center-line holes in the stock location, and it elevates and centers the plate on the front bumper.

That's exactly what I was looking for. Thanks, Jeremy.

get one of these license plate brackets from Volvo for about $15, it moves the license plate up so it looks much more centered and proportional and doesnt interfere with a front mount nearly as much as hanging all the way down in front of it

Dunno, I think the plate looks weird so hi. I still like mine the best. I have never run a front plate in CA tho, I had it this way back home in HI and the new owner of my car wanted me to do it for him.

After seeing that pic of 'zumnwrxs' car, AWD20T's comment below my post crack me up even more...

I like the stock look too.... but the whipping sound it makes at 100+ annoys the **** out of me. It also ends up tearin up the paint on the front bumper...

edgar,
What noise? I have cruised @ 140 and never heard anything outside of normal crazy wind noise. Do you mean the whistling noise some cars make? I remember at a meet some guy (raazin I think) had a vid going 160 or so and it would whistle. He said it was the windshield trim on top doing it.

Yeah, that stupid humming noise that is heard at high speeds... ive heard just about every theory about what’s causing it…

I tried to explain the problem to the dealer when the car was still new, but of course they weren’t thrilled to hear someone experiencing a humming noise at speeds over 110 mph and well would go on a ride to replicate it for them… haha waddAya know

Edgar,

OK back on topic TIA

Found something at kragen that relocated this for me. However, I was wondering what it looks like for other people. As you walk around from the back to the front.

Mine looks like this.

Anyone else with a relocated plate (Krinkov?)... what does yours look like??
