Great pick up, Adam. Does Swift make Forester-specific springs? If so, what's the ride height/rates?

I'll probably bring the Forester by for the installation of the F-STi "pink" springs in a couple months (after the Legacy is finished).

Just swap the wheels on the two Foresters, and you're done! The FXT stockers look much better on the older Fozzies anyway...

I think I read that in another post of yours. What's so much better about the 04 XT's compared to the 05 and 06 (besides the butt ugly redesign on the 06).

 

So that was you speeding down the hill on Wood Hollow Dr. around 6pm Might want to slow it down there, kids ride their bike down that hill and couple people already crashed there cars. Otherwise nice car!

Was this the same one posted on Craigslist last week? Awesome deal if it was!

 

It's mostly personal preference, but all in all it's just easier to mod... the 04 didn't have the immobilizer that was added for 05 and onward (I guess it can be a good thing if you live in a high crime area, but where I live you could pretty much leave your car unlocked in the driveway). No VIN coded into the ECU, no electric driver seat controls. Also I prefer the 4-spoke steering wheel over the 3-spoke on the 05+.

The 06 (besides the re-design) doesn't share the same engine with the STi anymore; they also eliminated the cloth seat option and made the moonroof standard now.
