i didnt scratch the paint on my wheels, just cleaned them a lot and then few coats of primer then a few of the color...came out nice but it probably wont last long...looks good though and only took me one day...my wheels are kinda cheap though haa

just picked up some aircraft paint remover... we'll see how it goes this weekend...

Wow that looks amazing I'm in the same boat however I have some scratches on the wheels too. Any suggestions? I need help with this as well. I have no experience in painting.

Painted mine too. Took about a week and a half from start to finish.
Primered after being sanded

Looks amazing! Are those 5x100? Im thinkign about picking up some 5x100 STi wheels and a couple more cans of grimmspeed gold.

Does anybody know how the process would work with chromed wheels? I have an extra set from my truck that I'd like to paint black.

Im sure once you strip, steel wool and sand them down, then put primer on them, it will stick.
