While there were a bunch of people parked on the sides, they were laying on their cars. I'll be on one of the trails with some shrubbery blocking the light from any passing cars. Worked just fine last time.

For those of you light missed it, there is a better one December 13/14, which is supposed to be better anyways. It is on a Sunday night, so I may even drive to clearer weather if the bay area is cloudy.
Jansen and I had great views of the skys, but only saw 4 shooting stars at best. What a let down. We get lots of shots of the night sky though. Freaking crazy amount of stars.

Saw 6-8ish shooting stars on the side of Skyline. I thought there would be way more shooting stars too
Got there at about 1:30 AM and left shortly before 3. I may go out again tomorrow night as well and try a diff spot.
It was cold but soooo pretty and fun!
