The peak is actually going to occur sometime in the 1:00 hour tomorrow afternoon. I think that is why some places are saying watch it tonight, and others are saying tomorrow night. I'm going tomorrow because it's closer, timewise, to the actual peak, and I've read more places list tomorrow night rather than tonight.

Need to get far away from city. Thinking about Northbay, like Maybe looking North West from mt Tam?

The S2K guys were actually going up Hammy when we went last time. We gave them about a 10 minute lead so that we didn't get stuck behind them and be able to shift into 3rd gear. Anyways, I'll still be up on Hammy tomorrow night around 11.

nope. don't have a place in mind. thought about trying Mt. Hamilton and maybe mt. tam since that's closer to me. one forecast said overcast tonight and another says clear, and they're calling for shower tomorrow evening.

Wow, good catch on the forecast! I completely forgot to look at that. I'm going up Mt Hammy tonight.

any sf'ers going to see this? mt tam or twin peaks sound good to me. i'm just afraid of the city lights being too bright. godam light pollution -- cant even look up into the sky without seeing cigarette butts and aluminum bottles.

Twin peaks won't work well. Too much light

I'm going up Hwy 9/ Skyline around midnight tonight. My friend was up there last night and said he saw a pretty good amount of meteors, and it wasn't too crowded. Hopefully even more meteors tonight and not a lot of people *crossing fingers*

That not a bad drive, I might go that route as well. Not sure if my Wife is up for it, but I'll see.

Otherwise it's up to Mt Tam.

Anyone know which direction we are supposed to look at?

I believe it's towards the east.

If that's the case, then Mt Tam won't work, need to go to where Mt Hammy is, but damn that's gonna be crowded. Gonna call up the Scout Camp in Mines and see if they'll let me in for a few hours. Or just drive up mines to the meadow perhaps.
