hahhah, sorry dude! You did a good job at doing the meet and everyone appreciates what you did... It's just the location that killed it! No one with a modified car wants to get anywhere near fremont, aka: The land of rosette.
I didn't mean to take a stab at you personally, just making fun of having out annual meet in fremont of all places. Apparently i have a reputation for being an *** online, well, fremont has a reputation for being car-***** in real life

Ahahha, dude! It doesn't count when you vote 8 times!
Both locations will be GREAT! Both are beautiful, and both have their pluses and minuses.
Hammy positives:
1. One of the best roads in the bay area leads to the entrance of the park, about 12 miles of road before the park.
2. There is about another 15 miles of fantastic road past the park which leads to the historic observatory
3. Very secluded which means that there are no cops (unless of course they are called on us like every year, lol)
4. The rose garden picnic area (one with the mansion) is very unique and is perfect for our activities
5. Nice bathrooms in the stockman house behind the mansion, as well as a stove, microwave, and refrigerator that we can all use
Im sure there are more things that I can't think of right now that are unique to the park.
Navato positives:
1. Small pond/lake near the picnic area
2. LOTS of room
3. Looks secluded
4. Like Hammy, it's away from police and such so we don't have to worry about getting pulled over like we did when it was in the heart of fremont
5. Good weather. We wont have to worry about it being 113 degrees again (Yes, it was 113 one year!!!). It also looks like the surrounding hills shield from the wind which is great for the north bay. Hammy is shielded too, but when its 100+ degrees you WANT wind.
All in all they are pretty even, each place has its pluses, and I can't really think of any major drawbacks for either location.
The ONLY concern I have about the North Bay location is its location geographically. What I mean by that is, well, I know the south/east bay folks really well and I know a lot of people that would show up to Hammy wouldn't show up to the north bay because of how far it is... I know that sounds lame as hell, but thats how its been for years now. I feel bad for the north bay guys because you guys are always down to come here, but no one ever wants to go up there.
I dunno, we'll see what happens with the poll... I just hope we have full attendance regardless of which location is chosen. It's amazing how lazy some people are when it comes to driving!
I don't know about you, but I LOVE driving... Sometimes even in traffic if I'm desperate!
How can you be part of a car club and be too lazy to drive to the meet location?

NEED POLL NOW!!!!! ARRRRRRRGHHHH MATEY!
P.S. I too, would welcome the disc course! I saw that Novato's park website said it had one, and thought to myself "Wow, I haven't thrown a frisbee since I was like 13!" I look forward to being schooled by some of you 'disc jockeys'......get it....disc jockey....nvm.

Alternating it with Hammy might be a good solution.
