Go Warriors!!! Just wait until the coach and team has more time together, they'll be surprising people in the second half of the season.

And as far a D fish flopping...it isn't a flop. If you look at the replays, he gets hit first, then absorbs the contact and then falls. But in Divac's & Webber's case, they fall before the contact with their arms flying in every direction. C'mon man...PLEASE! and Webber flops even if he isn't even near the freaking play (if you watched the whole series Lakers vs Kings last year you would know what I mean).

Just goes to show how tiite we are when people get excited about beating us. If we had won, do you think we'd brag about beating a below 500 team. That's no accomplishent. The whole franchise has been a joke since winning it's only championship. Their playing below 500 ball and you guys are happy because of one win. Simply funny. Feel free to flame. All I'm saying is my team hasent played well consistantly yet-and is under 500. And you fools are acting like you did something.

They try to stop shaq by fouling because they are fighting for position. However, when they held their position and let Shaq fight for position... offensive foul. He's so big it's hard for him to not knock someone down.

Then explain the "hack-a-Shaq" tactic by Dunleavy, Nelson, even Adelman. They instruct their players to foul him because he was a poor freethrow shooter. When you post up, you are allowed to go into the lane or establish your position where and when you want (for 3 sec or less - and don't tell me Shaq gets away with the 3 sec call because he gets called for it a lot especially this year). And once Shaq gets deep, they foul. It is a FACT bro! He is the most fouled player in this league. You know how I know this? I know this because he goes to the line 10 + times a game, more than any other player in the nba...When was the last time you saw any player guarding Shaq go for the ball? The only player I saw play him with actual defense was Ming.

joe,
you gotta admit it. fouling someone is part of the game.
i remember the last game tim duncan played as a college againsts stanford. it was like a the first or second round of ncaa tourney.
stanford's plan was to get rough with him throughout the entire game. it worked. they beat up the heck out of duncan.
now shaq does use his body to work his way in. the defensive player does have as much chance on that position as the offensive.
so, while the smaller guys on the warriors, they just foul him.
he's a 60% FT'er. i like those odds.

Hey what's up Leo?!? I guess the point I was trying to make is...
...Fouling whether it be offensive or defensive, it goes both ways. Shaq does commit offensive fouls but he does get his share of hacking (more times than none). Your statement above just proves that the league needs to get rough with Shaq to stay even. Now that isn't fair now, is it?

Flopping or not. Its just a stradgey to help the team win. hack-a-shaq tactic is also a stradgey to help the team win.
"I play to win. I can careless what you think of how I defense (flopping or not)"
-- on behalf of D. Fisher, V. Divac, and C. Webber.

OK...so flopping takes some skill...I guess (making the refs believe in the charge) but hacking doesn't man. I understand you want to win at all cost and "you play to win" but hacking is cheating because you are not out there trying to block a shot or tryng to play "cleanly". You're just out there to "hit" people in hopes that you hit them hard enough so they don't score. That aint basketball man, that's called Football...which I think Shaq should play as well...LOL

ok maybe i should explain the term "hacking" a little bit.
When I used to play ball in H.S.. Coach would always use me to hack (foul) opposing players. What he meant is fouling..but that doesn't mean to foul him hard ( I hacked a few players way too obvious and got called for technical a few times. ) or take him out of the game.
and Hack-a-Shaq tactic means ..well..since Shaq is so big..no matter how hard you try to foul him..he probably won't feel anything.
playa play on!
