I know that COBB full TBE is passing 92dB, not sure about 90dB though...

I'd probably hesitate doing bent exhaust tips on a tuned STI if it affects the flow.

I actually never saw Subaru with bent tips on Laguna Seca.
Not sure which one he has but my Perrin is WAY louder than that.

Old sound tower was on the inside of Turn 2A

A seca pipe is generally held on with a clamp and is removed as soon as you don't have to be quiet anymore.

You're concerned about the way a silencer you would likely only use at one specific track looks? Sorry your silencer might ruin your track day photos...

your point on that post? If i had to run a silencer i would do the laguna seca pipe with some bent ducting.

I didn't mean any offense - I assumed the silencer you were referring to was the slip-in type for a melon shooter exhaust, and that you didn't like the looks of those. I don't either, but if it meant the difference between being able to run at a track day, I'd probably just suck it up and do it. Everyone's different though.
