I'll be there, but in my Boxster. I posted in the other thread already. Turn 9 is the bestest turn ever. (The one after the corkscrew).
I sure hope it doesn't rain that weekend. When it's raining, it's still fun... just not the same kind of fun.
Edit: Oh yeah, I'm only signed up for Saturday Group 3.

Those instructors must have a set of nads on them to step into a stangers car and start lapping a racetrack from the passenger seat...I would be bricking it!

Yes, it is VERY different from a video game. You can learn some of the dynamics and practice them with a video game, but there is absolutely no substitute for hands-on experience with this.
If you have any issues, talk to someone - everyone with NASA is pretty cool and the instructors are all good people. My name's Jacob, and hope to meet you out there!

Bad things do happen and you are right, instructors must jump into a stranger's car, but it's not as wild and scary as you might think!

This time will be my first track day without my beloved RE-92's. I just upgraded to Kuhmo ecsta MX's and an Eibach spring set, so I'm hoping to be doing more cornering and less squealing :-). I also upgraded to porterfield pads, stainless lines and motul fluid, so I should get a little less brake fade.
Regarding the noise limit......do catless turboback pipes usually fail the noise regs????
See you at the track Jacob....I'm Glen BTW.

the GT4 version of seca is EXTREMLY close to the real thing.
remember, when your turning into 8a (first apex of the corckscrew), just aim for the big oak tree, and be prepared to turn right.

but a turn down pipe helps out angle out your tip away from the sound stations on the track so you wont get the meatball flag or worse get black flagged
